Hi all Amenotep here after i lose my helmet yesterday at Ony for 10RPs i decided to leave the guild, my reasons are coz no1 wait, only i ask for 1min to rebott my computer i know that is a stupid reason but im a busy person so i take time to raid only 2 times or sometimes 3 during the week so i cant be log on all days, but yesterday i must say that i couldnt control myself. well it have been a great experiece raid with all of u people im gonna miss u guys even Elway well this is the good bye people i hope u undersand why.

Well, I wasn't at the Ony raid, so I can't comment on what exactly took place. I can tell you that I rarely get to run Onyxia due to it being on Saturdays. I have yet to get my tier 2 helm on Delmira while others have gotten theirs. For me that is the way it goes. Unfortunately work takes priority over raiding (wouldn't it be great if we got paid to raid? :) ). I may get upset when something I need goes to someone else for 10RP on a day that I am unable to attend. I will not quit the guild and my friends over it, however. Quitting over gear that will drop over and over as we run MC/ONY/BWL seems childish and a bit selfish, but that is just my opinion. Notice that I used the word "seems", because as I stated, I was not at the raid and don't have all of the facts.

People, if you are only in this for the gear, do us all a favor and leave now. The Argonauts are a family, and just like any family there will be disputes and disagreements. Selfishness and greed have no place here, and will not be tolerated. I for one am sick of everyone coming here to gear up and then leaving for "greener pastures" once they get what they want from us. There have been some legitimate splits due to differing philosophies, and that I can understand. I am not personally pointing fingers at anyone (and I am sorry that I had to post this in your post, Amenotep), but if you think I am talking to you, then I probably am.

If in fact you did mention you needed to restart your computer AS BIDDING was starting then if you were able to hold of then you should have waited. I understand IF you said hey ill brb i need to restart and THEN they did biddingd but if you did it as they were bidding thats a different story all together.

Try to remember people need to get the same gear as you and if an unfortunate event occurs then make the best of it.

I STILL need all kinds of stuff but do you see me hovering like a vulture over all the dps gear lol no. Hell i barely have been going to raid so some of the newer warriors would be able to at least have dibs on one spot.

EDIT:

You know i should actually add that there were a lot of times when i first started playing where i would say on ventrilo or teamspeak that i was crashing and i couldnt roll or bid and if they could to please wait i would be right back in. NOT ONE PERSON acknowledged that i even made a squeak and i was pissed but you know that is just how it goes. for the other 39 people in tht raid they have every right to move on and roll or bid in a TIMELY manner. It took some time to get to accept this cause most here know I HAVE NO PATIENCE lol BUT you also have to remember IT IS JUST A GAME <taking a breath 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10>

Yeah, ive actually lost gear before because people were arguing on TS and in Raid chat and my bid was not noticed by the person running the bid... but its nothing to quit the guild over, there will always be more loot.

I'm going To post this only cuz I Completly agree w/ everythat that was posted here! There will be more Gear dropped an times you will get items cheep. Thwere will also be time tha you lose gear due to stupid mistakes. It's a part of life, both real world an game world!

An BTW *HIGHFIVE DEL* You didn't rant You said EVERYTHING that we have all thought an felt for awhile (esp us trhat have been here since the time when there was 15 of us! )

Aggreed. I do belive its part of the attended gamming experience blizzard had in mind for us. Ive lost my share of loot opportunites, mostly to DCs, but I always knew that I'll have another chance at it again. Also as a bonus, since that other toon got it already, the next time I can get it for a discount since there is less competition 8). It all works out since the guild have it on farm status so its not like one will rarely see that item again.

This is why you are the jelly on my toast dear friend.. I couldn't have said it better myself..

Altho I understand Amen's frustration - due to the fact that well we all know Illy freezes up and lags from time to time.. and *I* myself have lost out on loot.. on many an occassion.. for one reason or the next.. yet.. here I am.. pluggin away..

But maybe as Del so beautifully stated.. I am with family.. and friends.. who I hold near and dear.. so where ELSE would I wanna be? Guess my mindset is in a different place..

So, if I may Lupe.. I would like to partake in your *high-five* and give him a well earned one.

Altho Amen.. you were always very good to me.. so I'm in no way badmouthing you.. or disagreeing with you.. its just been a recurring thing.. and really - it's getting rather irriatating. You have your reasons, so be it... Best of luck to you.. and well - you always have a friend in me..

Look at it this way loot is a never ending resource if you stick around long enough you are going to get what you want. Leaving for the reason you did is just plain childish. I've talked to people from the raid and they said you rebooted right when bidding started now thats just not fair to everyone else and if I was the loot master I wouldnt have waited. Really know matter how bad something is on your computer you should be able to wait 2 mins for the loot to be handed out. Well im sorry you had to leave like this but if you ever see this message you have to GROW UP.

P.S ILLY!! stop using that yellow lettering its impossible to read :P

Well... he was looking for a guild, but those efforts came out futile, every guild out there is either just as far as we are (trying to start bwl) or they're on Naxx, in which case you are required to be 4/8 tier 2 minimum to even think about applying to their guild... so theres no inbetween, I believe my warlock will be here for a long time, my point was that I personally wouldnt leave the guild over a matter of a loot miscommunication.

(And for the sake of not having to use the mouse and highlight your entire block of text just to read it, please STOP USING YELLOW! :wink: )

all ya gotta do is go into your profile thingy at the top .... and change the color setup yourself. so that the yellow doesnt interfere with the white background :)
